While domestic pool engineers were still grappling with the limitations of traditional boilers and air conditioning systems, Ve-Tech, armed with two decades of engineering expertise from Hong Kong, introduced dehumidification heat pump technology for pools in 2004. Facing an industry devoid of standards and plagued by poor system compatibility, we worked hand-in-hand with engineering partners to refine a modular heat pump solution. Fourteen years of relentless innovation culminated in a pivotal moment in 2016—when we were commissioned by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development to spearhead the industry standard CJ/T 528-2018 "Heat Recovery Heat Pumps for Swimming Pools." This milestone marked the end of "rule-of-thumb construction" and ushered in an era of "standardized customization" for China’s pool heat pump engineering.

By the shores of Hong Kong's Repulse Bay in 1983, as the first independently developed pool heat pump labored to operate in the salty sea breeze, the founding team of Ve-Tech could scarcely have imagined that this innovative solution—born to address the energy inefficiencies of five-star hotels—would ignite four decades of transformative progress in China's pool heat pump industry. In 2004, we set our sights on Shenzhen, guided by the real-world needs of engineering partners, and carved a unique path in the realm of high-end customization.
